Dear Church Family,
Your Atlanta North pastors and leadership team hope that you and your family are experiencing both the excitement and rest that the Christmas season can bring. This past Sunday was such a beautiful expression of the Body of Christ gathering to celebrate the birth of Jesus. There was a sweet, sweet spirit as friends and family gathered with us in our beautiful sanctuary to sing favorite Christmas carols, share testimonies of thankfulness, beam as our children reenacted the manger scene, and soak in the encouraging words of the worship leader. Yes, this was the Spirit of Christmas that we had hoped to find. May we carry this same Spirit of Love, Hope, Joy and Peace into the New Year. God has much to teach us in 2012! Just as He has given His best gift to us through Jesus Christ, let us each place Him FIRST in all that we do this coming year. We love you, dear Family!

COMMUNION SERVICE - JANUARY 1, 2012
"Kneel before Him"
The glow of Christmas lingers with us and soon we will celebrate Epiphany...the time when people realized that Jesus was the Messiah. God places stars in the sky and miracles in our lives, angels sing alleluias, and prophets tell of God's wonders. Epiphany happens in our own lives when we notice! If the magi had not noticed the star or had stayed home they wouldn't have encountered God in the way they did. We are called to notice the miracles in our midst! Let us open our eyes and find God here among us. Let us kneel before Him offering our best gifts. Let us kneel before His Table in forgiveness and renewal on this first Sunday of the new year.

COURAGEOUS MEN'S SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASS
Hey, guys...
This Sunday we will focus on COMMITMENT... that COURAGEOUS COMMITMENT that comes from deep within. We'll watch a clip from the movie COURAGEOUS, then we'll explore God's WORD to help us better understand what HE expects of us. Together, we'll begin planning for our RESOLUTION SERVICE on January 29. It'll be an uplifting time of sharing.
CLASS BEGINS AT 10:00 SHARP! WE'LL MEET DOWNSTAIRS IN THE FELLOWSHIP AREA.
I'm looking forward to being together.
