  • Firefox internet browser with the Adblock Plus add-on installed (Removes visually distracting Advertisements)

Most common browsers are supported, however Firefox provides the ability to automatically remove advertisements that can be distracting. Below is basic information on how to install Firefox and the Adblock Plus add-on.

Firefox Installation:

  1. Go to: www.mozilla.com
  2. Click the link to download the current version of Firefox (Free)
  3. Follow the instructions to install Firefox
  4. Once Firefox is installed, click on the Add-On menu at the top, then the Privacy & Security link on the left (Persons in the USA can click here: addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/extensions/privacy-security/)
  5. Scroll Down or search for Adblock Plus
  6. Once you find it, click to download, then follow the instructions to install
  7. After you restart Firefox, you should see a screen prompting you to add a Filter Rule, the default for your country and language should already be selected, click to create this rule
  8. If you did not see the prompt automatically, Click on the ABP drop down at the top right, and choose the option for Preferences and create a Filter Rule here
  9. We have found that 99+% of ads are automatically blocked
